Nature-led lakeside wellbeing with serious training, expansive recovery and healthy routines at every turn.
The lake shapes the entire stay.
Seezeitlodge sits on a wooded headland above Lake Bostalsee, with floor-to-ceiling windows opening the hotel towards the water. The view follows you from the lobby and restaurant to the spa and gym, while almost all rooms and suites look across the lake or surrounding nature. Sunsets over the water are one of the defining moments here.
The gym is a genuine highlight.
Bright, spacious and equipped for a complete training routine, the 24-hour gym combines new Technogym equipment with lake view. Its free weights, barbells, cable station, Smith machine and broad cardio selection bring the setup to commercial-gym level. Personal training is available for guests who want individual guidance.
Recovery is equally substantial.
The 5,000 m² Spa unfolds across pools, quiet spaces, treatments and a Celtic outdoor sauna village. A 25-metre infinity pool overlooks the lake, while the natural bathing pond, cold plunge and varied sauna landscape make hot-cold recovery easy to integrate into the day.
Seezeit re.connect gives the experience a clear structure.
Four worlds guide guests through movement, regeneration, nutrition, sleep and mental balance: Root Activation, Strength Building, Energy Release and Mental Strengthening. The approach feels accessible and flexible, allowing each guest to follow the elements that suit them.
Hospitality brings warmth to the modern setting. The team was exceptionally attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. Small touches made the experience memorable, including an evening when dessert was served from the hotel's own ice cream cart with excellent house-made ice cream.

The gym
The gym is a bright space of more than 100 m², open 24 hours a day. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Lake Bostalsee and the extensive equipment supports structured strength, cardio and functional training.

Personal guidance and classes
Personal training can be booked for an individually guided session. The wider activity programme includes yoga, meditation, Pilates, guided hikes, Nordic walking and water-based activities. An optional breath metabolism analysis provides individual insights for training and everyday routines.
Outdoor movement
Movement continues directly outside the hotel. A scenic 6.8 km route circles Lake Bostalsee, while hiking, cycling, stand-up paddling and seasonal cold-water bathing offer further ways to stay active in nature.
Our assessment
With its extensive equipment, 24-hour access and panoramic lake views, the gym is one of Seezeitlodge's standout features.
5,000 m² of lakeside recovery shaped by water, heat and nature
Pools and water
The spa is generous in scale and carefully connected to its natural setting. The 25-metre heated infinity pool looks across Lake Bostalsee, while a 560 m² natural bathing pond and 770 m² pool terrace extend the experience outdoors.
Saunas and Celtic rituals
The Celtic outdoor sauna village is a defining feature. Three saunas, a ritual space, a rest house and a large yurt with a 360-degree fireplace create an atmospheric recovery setting at the edge of the forest. Celtic-inspired infusions and rituals give the sauna experience a strong sense of place.
Heat and cold
Inside, five sauna and steam experiences offer different temperatures and atmospheres. An 8°C plunge pool provides direct cold exposure, while the natural bathing pond is also used for cooling and cold bathing during winter.
Rest and treatments
Four spacious relaxation rooms, including one measuring 260 m², provide room to withdraw. Guests can also book massages, natural cosmetic treatments, Celtic-inspired rituals, a private spa and a saltwater floating experience.
In-room recovery and sleep
Recovery continues in the room. A well-stocked BLACKROLL trolley can be ordered with mobility and recovery tools including a massage gun. BLACKROLL pillows are available through the pillow menu. Guided morning and evening routines, meditations and sound experiences can be accessed through the hotel's digital audio programme, supporting a calmer start and end to the day.
Our assessment
The breadth of the spa, the hot-cold options and the quiet lakeside setting make recovery one of Seezeitlodge's clearest strengths.
Regional craftsmanship and balanced choices throughout the day
Breakfast
The hotel's culinary package accompanies the stay from breakfast to dinner. The generous breakfast buffet runs until 11 a.m. and combines regional and organic products with fresh fruit, house-made granola, freshly squeezed juices, made-to-order egg dishes and honey from the hotel's own bees.
Regional dining
The main restaurant works with regional suppliers, herbs from the garden and selected organic produce. Bread, pastries and desserts come from the hotel's own visible bakery and patisserie. In the evening, a crisp salad is followed by a three-course menu, with a premium alcohol-free pairing available as an alternative to wine.
Alcohol-free highlights
Four re.connect smoothies and four alcohol-free cocktails bring the wellbeing concept into the drinks menu. Ingredients such as matcha, house-made oxymel and kombucha create a thoughtful alternative to classic cocktails. We tried all four and found them exceptionally well composed.
